Since 2009, ERA’s technology investments have helped innovators develop and demonstrate Alberta-based technologies that reduce emissions, lower operational costs, attract investment, create jobs, and keep the province’s industries globally competitive.

ABOUT FUEL INNOVATION FUND 

Launched in 2026, the Fuel Innovation Fund, administered by ERA, reinvests federal Clean Fuel Regulation compliance contributions from industry directly into projects that deliver measurable emissions reductions, strengthen competitiveness, and accelerate technology innovation.
