The Fuel Innovation Fund (FIF) was established to accelerate the development, deployment, and commercialization of innovative technologies and processes that reduce the carbon intensity of transportation fuels while strengthening Canada’s industrial competitiveness. FIF is a wholly owned subsidiary of Emissions Reduction Alberta (ERA) and a registered Emission Reduction Funding Program under the federal Clean Fuel Regulations (CFR).
